Actress and vocalist Verena McBee and pianist/musical director Ellen Mandel take their audience on a trip down Memory Lane, performing favorites sung by Marlene Dietrich, Zarah Leander, the Comedian Harmonists, and the Andrew Sisters, plus classics by Kurt Weill and Bertolt Brecht and others. McBee and Mandel collaborated on English translations of many of these tunes!! Swinging, soulful, unusual music!
